  Blackheart
"Little Giant" UPGRADE KITS
ANNOUNCEMENT! -- In the works are 2 new
UPGRADE KITS for
the new Blackheart "Little Giant" series amps. The
first kit is the "Standard"
Mercury Mod -- with transformer
Upgrade and minor
component tweaking. This kit is relatively easy and yields
an amazing tonal improvement. The second kit we're calling
the "Mean 13 High Power." It involves modding the amp
to accept twin 6V6 or 6L6 tubes. It's a RADICAL
upgrade in the little amp's specifications and resulting
tone. Mercury
will be making the Mean 13 High Power
Upgrade kit available
to qualified amp techs, along with full schematics and instructions
for making this mod. The Standard kit will be available
mid-February, 2008. However, there is currently no release
date has been set for the "Mean 13" upgrade.
