Theme --
That's a mighty strange-looking amp! As odd as
it may seem, an amp's transformers are the basis of its tone. Too
many years of random to awful quality transformers have
clouded this fact. But with Mercury quality and consistency are no
longer an issue. Equipped with the
right set of Mercury
transformers your amp will (finally) perform to its full potential! That's all
it needs for maximum performance and
maximum tone!

Raves of the
Month -- We get mountains of amazing testimonials from
Mercury players, techs... converts and fans
who tell their own stories. A special thank you to all everyone who
writes in. Their heart-felt stories make our jobs even more fun
around here.

This month's 1/4 page
color ad:
You're not gonna
believe how amazing these amps sound!
-- Mercury Upgrade Kits
are now available for the
Fender Champion
"600", the
Epiphone Valve
Jr. (combo or head), the
Blackheart "Little Giant"
(head and combo) and introducing the
Orange "Tiny Terror" (release date to be announced
soon!). Be prepared for a serious
upgrade in tone
quality. You'll be absolutely amazed by how great your
upgraded little amp
sounds and plays.
The kits were originally developed
for Mercury dealers
so that they could demonstrate to their customers the value of outstanding vs.
mediocre transformer design and engineering. They all feature
Axiom®-ized
power, choke and output transformers. Each kit includes color
illustrations and photographic instructions, plus everything you (or your amp tech) need to modify your
amp. Foreign voltages are
usually available upon request.
Special thanks to amp designer
Alan Cyr
for his stellar contributions to these projects.

"Little Giant" UPGRADE KITS

JUST RELEASED! --
Mercury's newest
UPGRADE KITS
for Blackheart "Little Giant" series amps.
Here's your 2 options:
Kit
No. 1 --
The
Mercury Standard Upgrade.
Adds a premium transformer
upgrade set (with choke) along with a
very minor tweaking of the existing circuitry. It's relatively easy to perform and yields
a startling tonal improvement.

Kit No. 2
-- The
Mean 13 High-Power.
This radical upgrade
uses the original "donor amp" to create a full-blown
boutique-class amp -- but for at least half the cost!
The upgrade
is based around a full-custom set of
Mercury's Axiom
series transformers, adds a twin set of 6V6 or 6L6 power
tubes, and a serious mod to the existing chassis and
PCB -- and cranks the output from 7 to 13 watts. What do you get?
Balls-out, mean and nasty
T-O-N-E! The Mean 13 High-Power
Upgrade kit
is

qualified amp techs. Call us for the authorized amp tech
